Policy, Current Practice and Planned Work

Jimbe Minerals holds no third-party sustainability certification. The statements below distinguish what is policy, what is current practice, and what is planned.

Policy
Environmental, health and safety, and community engagement policies are in place and apply to all exploration programmes.
Current Practice
Environmental Project Briefs and Environmental Impact Statements are prepared and submitted to ZEMA as each project’s stage requires; an Environmental and Social Management Plan aligned with IFC Performance Standards is in place for the Jimbe Copper-Nickel Project.
Current Practice
Community engagement is conducted with traditional authorities and local leadership before and during field activities.
Planned
Formal sustainability reporting, expanded monitoring programmes and structured community investment as projects advance beyond exploration.
